Device & Precise Location Data:To facilitate accurate 15-to-45 minute express deliveries and provide hyperlocal features (such as local shop availability and Cash on Delivery radius checks), we request access to your device's precise GPS location and device identifiers.
Transaction & Order Data: Order history, items purchased, payment method (UPI, COD, Net Banking, Card), invoice amounts, wallet cashback, and referral credits.
Returns, Cancellations & Refund Data: Information provided when you initiate a return, cancellation, or refund request, including reason for return, proof photos/videos of damaged or wrong items, and bank account or UPI details (required solely to credit COD refunds).
Customer Communications: Messages, feedback, support tickets, and call recordings generated during interactions with our customer care desk.

To provide and maintain our express delivery Service across Kupwara, Handwara, Srinagar, and Jammu & Kashmir.
To process, dispatch, and fulfill your grocery and retail orders from neighbourhood shopkeepers.
To manage your registered account, authenticate logins via secure OTP verification, and prevent unauthorized access.
To process order cancellations, return pickups, and automatic refunds to your wallet or original payment source.
To communicate order confirmation, rider dispatch, real-time live map tracking, and delivery notifications.
To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, payment abuse, or violations of our terms.
3. Payment, Refund & Financial Data Security
Your financial security is paramount. KupwaraCart uses industry-standard encryption protocols:
Payment Gateway Partners: Online transactions are handled securely through RBI-authorized payment aggregators (such as PhonePe PG). KupwaraCart does not store your credit/debit card numbers, CVVs, or Net Banking passwords on its servers.
Refund Processing: Any bank account number, IFSC code, or UPI ID submitted for processing manual Cash on Delivery (COD) refunds is stored securely with restricted access and used solely for issuing your refund.
Wallet Transactions: All wallet balances, cashbacks, and instant refund credits are safeguarded by encrypted ledger records tied directly to your authenticated phone number.
4. Disclosure of Your Information
We strictly do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. We share information only with:
Delivery Partners & Riders: We share your delivery address, name, and contact phone number with assigned delivery riders solely for fulfilling and navigating to your order.
Partner Sellers: Relevant order line-items and customer name are shared with the merchant preparing your package.
Technology & Cloud Infrastructure: Verified cloud hosting, SMS/WhatsApp gateway providers, and database services operating under strict confidentiality and security agreements.
Legal Authorities: If required to comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, or government requests in India.
